A Winter's Night

Hey Y'all!  I'm back with yet ANOTHER card!  This is a paper-piecing card that I made to enter Challenge #144- Give Piece A Chance at Corrosive Challenges.  However, it is not just A paper-piecing card, but my FIRST paper-piecing card!  It is very exciting for me and I hope y'all like it!  I also used flock for like the second time EVER!  So that is pretty cool too!

The image I used is from Marker Guru.  I colored her with Whisper Strokes markers.  The papers are from Bazzill and my mother's stash o' scraps.  The border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Anyways, thanks for visiting my page and I really do hope that y'all like it!

Till next time!

There's A New Sherriff In Town!

Hey y'all!  I know I haven't posted in a while but I'm back!  YAY!

I got this super cute digi from the ever so amazing Sassy Studio Designs!  I used some cream colored shimmery paper, some black paper, golden paper, sparkly paper, Stickles, generic card stock, and the background paper is a leathery-type paper.  I distressed the sparkly paper with Studio G, and I distressed the golden paper with Tuxedo Black Memento.  I used watercolor markers for the chickadee.

I had to get a bit more creative with the star-shaped things.  I knew that the card was missing something so I looked around and I found one of them in a basket-o-stuff.  I really wanted to use them so I tried to find another one.  I then asked my mom where she got it.  All she did was LAUGH!  I was so super confused!  When she finally stopped laughing she told me that it came off of MY BELT!  I happened to be wearing the belt at that time so I just took off another one.  So long story short...  The stars came off of my belt!  Haha!

I know this card doesn't look good on here.  But that's only because I just couldn't seem to get a good picture of it.  But I promise you that it really looks better in person!  ;D

I have also entered into these challenges:

Funky Birthday!

Hey ya'll! (BTW I will most likely say that in the beginning of every one of my posts)  I guess you didn't have to wait too long to see my new card.  Haha!  I made this card for, yet again, another birthday!  THIS friend turned 17 as well as the first, but before him.  I had to do a bit of computer magic for this card.  I changed the digi a bit to fit the occasion better.  In the original digi, the girl had cobwebs in her ears and her earrings and belt-type thing had zombies instead of smiley faces.  The picture also had a zombie doll with her but I had to cut him out because I colored it blue and I didn't realize that it was the same color as my background...... woops!  I like this card the best because I didn't mess it up as bad as the others.

To make this card, I used:
  • Brizzil Card Stock and Regular Card Stock
  • Stickles
  • Whisper Watercolor Markers
  • I made the sentiment on Microsoft Word
  • The Ribbons are made by Trim Line and Pure Color
  • Simply Betty digi called Betty Skellington
Thanks for visiting! Till next time....

Masquerade Birthday!

Hey ya'll....... again!  I made this card for another friend's birthday.  She turned 15.  I am extremely sorry for this but I forgot to take a pic of the inside of the card so I will just describe it.  It says "So express it your way!"  It is the exact same format as the beginning of the sentiment in the front of the card.  I am very proud of the way this card looks overall, but I am still getting used to the watercolors and so I messed up her face a bit.  I do like this card though.

To make this card, I used:

  • Regular card stock
  • Whisper Watercolor Markers
  • I made the sentiment on Microsoft Word
  • Stickles
  • Sassy Studio Designs digi called Masquerade 4
  • Regular stickers with a clear back ground
I am super sorry that I don't know where the stickers came from but I hope that you like the card.  I can't wait for you to see my next card.  Thanks for visiting!

My First 'Dude' Card

Hey ya'll!  Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I haven't been making too many crafts because of my schedule, but I am trying to get back into the habit of making cards and/or other crafts at least like once a month.

I made this card for a friend at my church who just turned 17.  I am super proud of this card because it is the very first 'dude' card that I made and I think I did a pretty good job at it!  Sorry about the mess up on his face.  It kind of got messed up when I tried to do something to his eyes and it did not turn out well.  Haha!   I still like this card though.

To make this card, I used:
  • Lilyboo Designs Digi Stamp called Boy
  • Regular Red, Green and Yellow Cardstock
  • Stickles
  • Jim Holts Distress Inks: Barn Door, Peeled Paint and Tattered Rose.
  • Whisper Strokes Watercolor Markers
I hope ya'll like it!  Thanks for visiting!

Making Cards with My Craft Club

Hey y'all!  So this is a card that I made in my crafting group 3FC.  Can you guess what this month's craft idea was?  I'll give you a hint... it's not puppies!  HAHA!  It's definitely a baby card.  The person who thought of the idea made a baby card for a baby boy and it was just DARLING!  I made mine for a person at my church who is having a baby girl.  The baby will have the same name as me just probably not spelled the same way.  Anyway.. here is what I used:
  • A M. S. border punch
  • An accordion technique in the inside
  • 140 lb. card stock for the base
  • Stick-on tulips and daisies
  • Velum Sentiment
  • Ribbon
  • Dauber for spreading glue
That's pretty much it I think.  And trust me.......  it's harder than it looks!  HAHA!

Till next time!
