Aloha y'all! I have made another card. It's my first sympathy card (that I can remember at least). I made this card for a family member who has lost someone dear to them. I wasn't really intending on making a card when I started, my mom started coloring the image and I just took it from her. (She said as she smiles guiltily.)
Any who, the flowers started out pink and I decided they would look better if they gradually turned into white. I distressed the background papers a lot to try to get that mourning look. I didn't want the colors to be to bright because that just doesn't seem like something that would show my sympathy.
For this card, I used:
An Image from Stitchy Bear Stamps'
Whisper Strokes and Stampin' Up Water Color Markers
Darice Ribbon
Papers from The Paper Company and my mom's Box O' Scraps
Distress Ink by Ranger
AND
Stampin' Up Metal Embellishments
The design for the card came from a sketch provided by~ Sketches by Carly #53
